Inang Kalikasan

Uwahig

“Uwahig,” according to IPAG (Integrated Performing Arts Guild ), is a “deconstruction of the Maguindanao Indarapatra epic and the Bukidnon water legend,” that “resets into the mythic realm of wars, violence, and the degradation of the environment in Mindanao’s postcolonial and postmodern landscape.”
“Weaving folklore in New Theatre, the play retells the story of two brothers who defend the land against darkness. Interspersed in the narrative are the flood legends. Images of contemporary representations of darkness (war, hunger, evacuation, and environmental destruction) are shaped through digital images, puppetry, masks, music, chants, chorus, and poetry.http://www.mindanews.com

Buwan Ng Wika

Mensahe
ng
Kagalang-galang Benigno S. Aquino III

Reminiscence: Lakbay Aral 2007

Lakbay-Aral, a Filipino term literally translated as "travel-study", is a program that seeks to provide people concern with an opportunity to learn more through experiencing and by observing life in other places.

The participants are expected to gain better understanding of the places they went into and its people, and greater awareness and appreciation of how Filipino communities struggle to better their lives.

The experience will hopefully instill
and preserve a sense of
national pride among the participants,
 compare developments
between their locality with other
 places, observe other Filipino
cultures that may serve as
catalyst in the participants’
 work and duties as elected
 public officials and public
 employees.

Time Spent at WWW (Internet Freedom)

 Joe Esposado
Hello. Well, I am not an expert in writing nor have enough knowledge in blogging but I think I'm quite satisfied to do this for information, or for posterity?  Or perhaps it's just plain hobby?  I have no command of any language but yet I want to write.  How sarcastic!  Very funny.  It took me so much time creating an article with hard-recalled words, gathering ideas that seem so scanty in my mind, browsing for synonyms, checking spellings and meanings and grammar.  Thanks for the World Wide Web it facilitates my searches with many options to make.
I am fascinated by the internet.  That is why when a campaign for internet freedom is launched I most willingly support it. The internet is a replica of the real world.  But it is a world of ideas.  It is a created world where a fight for freedom must prevail against preventive legislation.   It is a world of  choices between the negative and positive, affirmation and negation, building and destruction, rising and falling, growing and dying, planting and harvesting, love and hate, failure and success, and all other contradicting ideas.  Yes, it is a world of the opposing sides. In the WWW there's a  peaceful war of ideas.  And I go for this.
