Lakbay-Aral, a Filipino term literally translated as "travel-study", is a program that seeks to provide people concern with an opportunity to learn more through experiencing and by observing life in other places.
The participants are expected to gain a better understanding of the places they went into and their people, and greater awareness and appreciation of how Filipino communities struggle to better their lives.
Particularly, the purpose of this 'travel study' 2011 to this particular places is to observe how gardening is done and hope to bring back home the adaptable system they see.
