Uwahig (Water)

UWAHIG means water from a Bukidnon dialect from the Philippines.  Juvie Pelos a kundiman singer from Surigao sung this song during the "The Voice of the Philippines" in ABS CBN Hulyo 6, 2013.

Bamboo Boxing

Bamboo boxing:

Only in the Philippines.  A combination of all means possible to down the opponent. Previously there was just plain soil down the boxers and they fell down on earth; the bamboo they fought on was not too high though.  In some provinces they have sand dunes for boxers to fall. In barangay Cannery Site the promoters devise means where boxers have water to fall.
